Dental Crown Procedure
Fitting a dental crown will require at least two office visits. The procedure for fitting the dental crown is as follows:


1. Removal of the decayed tooth.





2. Make an impression or imprint for a crown.
3. Make and fit a temporary or transitional crown made from plastic or metal.



4. In a subsequent visit, removal of the temporary crown. Fit and adjust the final crown before it is permanently cemented.
